Dana J. Rosenberg has an active practice focusing on labor and employment litigation, administrative law, education rights, landlord/tenant disputes, premises liability and professional malpractice. Dana joined Baldwin Law Partners in 2009 to head its civil litigation defense practice.
Dana defends organizations and individuals in lawsuits involving various types of employment disputes including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, employment agreements, wage and hour actions and related issues. Her practice includes counseling nonprofit organizations on matters concerning formation, governance and operational compliance.
Dana is admitted to practice law in California. She attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated cum laude in 1983. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Literature, a Master of Arts in English and certification from Harvard University in Publishing Procedures. Dana has lectured on English and composition, collaborated with both literary and commercial publishers, and founded a successful research and writing business.
Dana is committed to community service. She serves on various boards of local nonprofits. Dana is the Executive Director of the Lawyer Referral Service of Santa Barbara County where she donates substantial time, energy and legal work. She is a board member of the Patricia Henley Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to providing children opportunities and education through the creative arts. She is a member of the Civil Rights Committee of the Anti-Defamation League, and a member of the California Arson Rebuild Team, a non-denominational organization that rebuilds churches victimized by racially-motivated crimes.
